SOLIDWORKS PCB 2018 Database Link

As we advance into a technology driven future it has become more of a necessity for all systems to be connected and to have information bidirectionally accessible.  In SOLIDWORKS PCB 2018, it is now possible to establish connections to databases outside of the SOLIDWORKS environment such as ERP systems, Purchasing systems or company grown data systems. References can be setup to an external database with the Database link.

The information can be component parameters, parametric information or simply reference documentation. Information can be driven to a database and can be mapped to retrieve from the database such that it adds information to the design component in SOLIDWORKS PCB.
