View Design Analysis Results

In SOLIDWORKS Simulation, all plots are output to a single eDrawings file for viewing simulation results.

Hyperlinking

Hyperlinking views is supported in drawing files. Section line and detail circle annotations in drawing files hyperlink to the associated section or detail view. When the pointer is moved over a section line or detail circle, the annotation for the related view is highlighted.

Publish HTML5 3D models

eDrawings enables users to publish models in an HTML 5 file, which can then be opened in any compatible browser. Models can be shared and viewed without the need for software installation.

eDrawings is a lightweight file format that can contain 3D models and or 2D drawings. This file can be created directly from SOLIDWORKS or by the use of eDrawing Publisher from Autodesk Inventor®, Pro/ENGINEER® CATIA® V5, SIEMENS NX®, Solid Edge®, PTC CREO software and SketchUp®.
